Full Mouth Assessments
At my.dentist.nq we want to ensure your first visit is a positive one. While we always seek to accommodate emergencies, our ideal scenario would be for you to make an initial appointment for a Full Mouth Assessment.
At this visit our intention is to get to know you and learn about your history and past dental experiences, as well as to understand what your current concerns, hopes and expectations are. From there we are able to formulate a tailor made treatment plan for you.
At your Full Mouth Assessment you can expect the following.
- A friendly greeting by our reception team who will ask you for your New Patient Form and assist in answering any questions. You can download, print and fill out these in advance and email/fax them in or simply bring them into our practice for your first appointment.
- Our Dentist will perform a Comprehensive Examination which includes:
- Comprehensive examination of all teeth, gums and oral surfaces
- A full photo series of you teeth
- X rays as needed
- A Full mouth panoramic x-ray
One of the challenges in dentistry is to help people feel fully informed about their dental condition and what the treatment options are - that is why the photos are so important.
After you examination, your dentist then will reschedule you for a treatment planning session with you treatment co-ordinator. Having obtained the records and information they need, you dentist will formulate your treatment plan in preparation for that session. There is no charge for that subsequent treatment planning session.

The New Patient Offer includes a Full Mouth Assessment performed by the Dentist followed by a Professional Clean and Polish treatment with our Hygienist. Please mention this offer when book your dental visit.
